How can Anytime Pharmacy help me?

We provide this regulated, specialist service only for men who have Impotence.

Impotence or erectile dysfunction is characterised as the inability to achieve or sustain an erection that's hard enough or lasts long enough to complete sexual intercourse or another chosen sexual activity. It can occur as a result of both psychological and physical causes. It is extremely common, an estimated 33% of all British men experience Impotence problems.

All services provided by Anytime Pharmacy are confidential (we do not inform your GP) and allow you to get tested and treated within the privacy of your home and without the potential embarrassment of a face-to-face doctor consultation or the inconvenience of lengthy waiting rooms.

Choose same day click and collect from your local participating pharmacy. The benefit of collecting from your local pharmacy is that you can go to the pharmacy at a time that suits you, it's faster than a mail order delivery and no-one has to wait at home to sign for your medicine.

How does this Anytime Pharmacy service work?

Step 1:             Register online and complete the free online medical questionnaire consultation. A doctor will review your questionnaire and, if it is safe to do so, approve you for treatment. You do not pay for your doctor consultation.
Step 2: If you are approved for treatment you will be sent a text message asking you to log back into your secure patient record. You can pay for your impotence treatment using a debit or credit card. All patients are advised to start with the lowest dosage of the drug they choose.
Step 3: You will be sent a FREE SMS (text message) when a doctor has sent your prescription to your nominated pharmacy. We advise you to call your nominated pharmacy to check your prescription is ready, then collect your medicine.

Why are no prices shown for Anytime Pharmacy treatment services?

Under current UK advertising law we cannot show you prescription-only-medicine (POM) prices prior to a medical consultation with a registered doctor. Once your doctor has approved you for treatment all prices are clearly displayed. Your registration and medical consultation is free and you are under no obligation to purchase any treatment.

All of our prices are fully inclusive, and so for prescription medicines the prices include the cost of the consultation, the issuing of a private prescription, and dispensing of the medicine itself. There are no hidden extras.

How common is erectile dysfunction?

ED is a very common condition, particularly in older men. It is estimated that half of all men between 40 and 70 years of age will experience ED at least once during their lives.

ED becomes more common as men age, but it is not a part of aging. At age 40, about 5% of men experience ED. At age 65, this number jumps to between 15% and 25%. But this does not mean growing older is the end of your sex life. ED can be treated at any age.

Causes of ED

ED can have a range of causes, both physical and psychological.

Possible physical causes include:

  • heart disease,
  • diabetes,
  • depression, and
  • relationship problems.

Possible psychological causes of ED include:

  • stress,
  • anxiety,
  • high blood pressure (hypertension), and
  • hormonal problems.

Many men will experience episodes of ED that improve without the need for treatment. Sometimes, persistent ED can be the result of a more serious underlying health condition, such as heart disease. In such cases, treatment will be needed to treat the underlying condition.

Other causes include head injury, which can result in low levels of production of the hormone testosterone. Treatment of testosterone can treat ED when it is caused by head injury.

Generally, the prognosis for ED is good. Some men will just need to make some lifestyle changes, such as losing weight and taking regular exercise. Other men may need to take medication such as sildenafil (known as Viagra), Cialis and Levitra.

If you would like to have a free consultation with a doctor about your erectile issues, please complete the free medical consultation questionnaire and one of our doctors will have a look at it and get back to you.
